In this day and age with the fairly brand new CBD industry everybody that is involved is like how most of us are and that would be we are learning on the fly. You can say it has felt like a bit of the wild west at moments due to some of the regulations and many grey areas. Currently a major question we get from consumers within the CBD industry is both new and experienced consumers asking what is the difference between CBD oil and hemp oil? Is there really even a difference at all between the two? Let's dive into some of the research we have done.

We have come to the conclusion that it turns out to be not so cut and dry. Let's take a look at the beauty industry and Amazon. They have blurred the lines when it comes to dealing with CBD and the results have been leaving consumers confused. But dont worry, because were here to help shed some light on some of the confusion.

Many of you may or may not know that the e-commerce giant known as Amazon which currently accounts for more than 50% of all total online sales, has strictly prohibited the sale of any CBD products in their seller agreement. So what this means is you wont be finding anything on Amazon that will be labeled as "CBD. On the flipside you will however be able to find a massive selection of products that are labeled as "Hemp Infused or "Hemp Oil.

Looking back in 2014 when CBD oil first became one of the hottest topics, people have been able to get away with selling hemp seed oil which is usually labeled as "Hemp Oil on Amazon. When browsing some of the top reviewed "Hemp Oil products these items have over 2,000 reviews. These products often include lotions, ingestible oils, capsules, pet products, and cosmetic beauty products. Most of these bottles for sale will typically come in a 1 oz bottle that most legitimate hemp brands will also use to package their CBD oils and products. These bottles will often contain a milligram level on the front of these bottles or inside the box.

However when you research further into these hemp oil products they are almost always a basic simple mixture typically that will contain hemp seed oil. Unfortunately this will never contain any CBD products. CBD will always come from what is known as the flower or "bud of the hemp plant. This can only be made possible to extract after the seed has fully grown into a mature healthy plant and has then flowered. If somebody were to ask you the question "Where does CBD oil come from?" Youll be able to answer them with confidence.

So on Amazon does that mean you won't be able to find any real CBD oil products? Well the good news is that it appears that you will be able to. The honest legitimate CBD companies have realized that shady entrepreneurs have been selling thousands of units that were labeled as "Hemp Oil on Amazon which they promptly took notice. NewEra CBD and other companies across the industry have been looking for any avenue possible to grow as a company which has resulted labeling legitimate CBD oil products. These include some of the largest most well known brands within the industry.

Now that we dove into this topic a little bit you now know that answering this question of CBD oil vs hemp seed oil isnt an easy task. The thing that we can most definitely say for sure though is that every honest legitimate CBD company that is in this industry will not even hesitate to provide access to their certificate of analysis. These will usually come with a QR code that has been placed on the product packaging. These QR codes should go directly to their website, regardless of the item getting listed elsewhere.

Some of these CBD products could potentially even have the USDA organic sticker on them. However, this could still mean that it is hemp seed oil. This means that it has been certified as organic by the USDA which also means that it is legally available for sale on platforms such as Ebay and Amazon. The bottom line is that just because a particular product has that fancy USDA all organic seal and is claiming that it is "hemp oil in reality this honestly does not mean that this particular product contains any CBD or that it is from the actual mature hemp plant. When shopping please be sure to always look for a certificate of analysis to back up the CBD content claims within the "hemp oil product.

Here at NewEra CBD we pride ourselves on all of our items having a certificate of analysis to show our products true contents. That way you will know what you are getting every single time you make a purchase with us. We hope you enjoyed this article and we look forward to providing you with the highest quality CBD products in the industry.
